No, “Personal Representative” is simply a more modern term for executor or executrix. An executor (male) or executrix (female) is simply the person named in a decedent’s Will to complete or “execute” the last wishes of the decedent.
The term Personal Representative can also refer to administrators (male) and adminstratrixes (female), and guardians.
